What About Tomorrow?

So many of us are worried about tomorrow. Yet we seem to forget that tomorrow will be the result of what we have in mind today. If we are ready to make change we mustn’t procrastinate. Do it now!

Gratitude is a great practice for changing all our tomorrows. And it goes hand in hand with forgiveness. Can we each find forgiveness in our heart and allow ourselves to be full with gratitude too?

I have been working on a project for the past week and a half — it has been a challenging experience. The challenge has run more deeply only when I find myself in a place of blame for what has been. That is totally counter-productive and only makes ME miserable (no one else). So what I have done is to go to gratitude for the ability to do the work and forgiveness for any belief that I have that may be blameful of the work to begin with.

You know what? The experience (while taking much longer than I expected) has been one of joy. If I bring joy in my heart to the experience, the experience ends up being joyful.

We should consider that in all we do. Joy is not derived from experiences — we bring the joy to the experience.

So don’t put off gratitude and forgiveness until tomorrow! If you delve into them today you will experience joy today, tomorrow, and forever more!
