We Are Not Robots

TODAY’S READING
71.1-73.2

None of us is destined to live a predetermined experience. Not a single one of us. There is no such thing as predestination, or fate. There are no choices that have already been made. We get to decide our fate and we get to make choices in life. What an exciting feeling!

It can also present a feeling that is scary.

“What? You mean I am in charge? I don’t get to blame God for my ‘lot in life?’”

Well, yes and no. None of us can place blame on anything beyond the self because of this: we are Divine beings who are all part of the Infinite wholeness of the Universe, so we create our own reality. We cannot blame God if we believe God is something beyond. It is not. We can blame ourselves as God (thereby placing the blame on God as us) but what good will that do? Blame does NOTHING. Blame just bums us out, and sets our mind in a tendency of thinking that can be detrimental. Blame does no earthly good whatsoever!

What then CAN we do? We can change. That’s the whole point. We are people of power. We cannot live a choiceness life.

If we were subjects of the Divine energy, not able to make choices, we would be automatons. Choice is the greatest asset we have in the expression of our lives.

We make good choices and we make bad choices and the good and bad are only in how we consider the choice. I don’t believe anyone purposefully makes a bad choice, but once we recognize from the resulting effect of a choice that it was a bad choice… we get to make a different choice. That is not allowing ourselves to rest in blame and shake our fists at the world and feel defeated. If we don’t like our lot in life we get to do something about it. We are not beholden to choiceness creation.

This also means, we MUST make choices. We can’t wait around thinking the decision will be made for us, even “from on high.” We ARE the very energy from “on high!”

The body is the instrument of the mind and spirit for its use in expressing, but it is not a mechanical thing. If it were then it could function independently of mind and spirit. The body is both the expression and the expresser. One doesn’t exist independent of the other.

The great part of creation is that there is a mechanical aspect... and that is in the unfoldment when a choice is made. So much more will unfold on this as we continue our exploration. So we are not robots... yet creation is mechanical in its unfoldment and can be COMPLETELY relied upon.

So what choice will you make today?

Today I choose to live an extraordinary life. I get to make that choice. I don’t need to have any idea what it looks like; I can live in the surprise of what extraordinary looks like!
