God's Plan is Man's Plan

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
— Genesis 1:27

Does God have a plan?  Does God want something for me?  To suppose that God has plans and desires for me is to imbue God with human characteristics.  How can this be?  God is the Allness of the Universe.  Isn’t it limiting to anthropomorphize God?  If God is unlimited... then God is unlimited. There are no degrees of "un-limitation."

God doesn’t decide for me whether I am healthy or sick, rich or poor, with whom I have relationships in my life and God doesn’t decide what I do for a living.  Right?

Wrong. God does decide. God decides through me, AS me – because I am OF God. I am a conduit of infinity and experiencing God's life as my own. I am but one conduit among infinite conduits. I say this not to limit myself – or to undermine the limitless expression of God. The decision of God is MY decision. When I decide to be healthy – I am healthy. When I decide to be rich – I am rich. When I decide to have friends – I have friends. When I decide on perfect creative expression it happens perfectly.

God doesn’t care what my expression is because it can't care. If I stop getting in the way and allow God to express, then the perfection of the infinite follows suit – I am healthy, rich in money and relationships and I have the perfect job. That is what God wants for me – because that is what I want for myself. That is what feels right. If I feel limitation it is for me to confront and correct.

It is our use of consciousness that governs our experience. This is where we have the gift of making a decision that is cemented in an unfailing Law. Anthropomorphizing God as me is ultimate freedom because there are limitless possibilities in my life and I am only limited if that is where my belief is rooted.

God’s plan is my plan.

God’s desires are my desires.
