Think About It

TODAY’S READING
26.6-28.3

Let’s start with this… we are all thinking. Can we all agree on that? I mean, you are thinking right now. At least I assume you’re thinking right now—one of the times I will make an assumption with confidence that I am not going to be proven wrong. We all think, even when we are not actively participating in the thinking process, the thinking never stops.

So what are you thinking about? That’s really the crux of the entire Science of Mind philosophy. What you are thinking about is what creates your experience. There is nothing unusual about this if you really look at the core of the idea, and I am NOT here to tell you what to think. My desire is to encourage you to get in touch with what you’re thinking, make determinations about how these thoughts are showing up in your life, and making sure that your thinking matches the life you want to live. So really, my desire is to teach you a method for thinking that consistently affirms your highest good (and you get to decide what is your highest good).

So the two parts of today’s reading are that the creative power of the Universe is completely impersonal. It doesn’t judge the thoughts it just creates from them. Part two: let’s remove any notion that there is anything different or weird about what we are studying. It is all perfectly natural.

So this impersonal and natural unfoldment of life through you is based entirely on you! You get to decide! The work is one hundred percent personal to each of us. And we are all thinkers, which is where we began today.

Begin to take stock of your thoughts.

Just become aware of them as your days unfold.

This is the beginning of a practice.

Don’t worry about working to make change yet (that will come), just settle into awareness.

Do you perceive any patterns arising? Take note of them.

Do you sense any judgments coming up, don’t let them defeat you, let them go. Allow yourself to release the heat around what you find happening in your mind.

That’s all you have to do at the beginning of the work in Science of Mind. Simply develop impersonal awareness. We’re five days in… three hundred sixty remain to become a master. Be where you are now!
