A Feeling of Definite

I had a conversation today with my sister. We were talking about a revelation she had based on something that I had shared with her last week when we were in Kauaʻi together. The details of her revelation are not important to this post except to say that what was discovered was the importance of feeling the Spiritual Mind work we do.
I have said often, “feeling is the gasoline in the engine of creation,” and I hold to this strongly still. If we don’t feel the change we don’t experience the change.
When we come to this philosophy, many of us are looking for a change in our lives, something to point to that can be the example of how our lives are better because of our faith. What many of us are faced with is an intellectual approach to working in mind, and that is a good start. The intellectual approach gives us tools we can use. The tools only take us so far. We can use tools to build a cabinet out of wood. It is easy to hammer together a few planks of wood, and we could call it a day. But it is the finesse, the fine strokes with the sandpaper, the care and attention to detail that constitute the experience of beauty in the finished product. Without that care it would be just a couple boards (that might just fall apart)… with that care a work of art is created.
It is the same with our mental work. We must be willing to finesse it with feeling. Our entire lives can be looked at as works of art if we bring the feeling into everything we do.
In this work we must have the willingness to be unlimited in our belief. Principle is unlimited, so the only limitations that we experience are self-imposed.
I am about to embark on a great journey of change. While I feel the fear of the possibility of failure, I cannot let that stop me.
One of the practices my Sister and I engaged in when we were on our Sacred Journey was to choose an “Animal Oracle Card” each day. My sister had brought a deck with her and we let the cards provide for us something upon which to contemplate. The most powerful card I chose was toward the end of the journey when I had already made the decision to embark on the next step, the aforementioned “journey of change.” That card was the black panther card which suggests, “Follow your passion.” The thing that really struck me was this offering, “Questions of safety and survival abound by stepping into this total expression of who you really are. Let them remain as questions, cast them aside, and embrace what turns you on.” This is so in alignment with today’s Science of Mind reading. In the same way God never compromises… we mustn’t compromise in our work. After all, as I keep saying, we ARE God!
I approach the next steps with a feeling of confidence, knowing that what lies ahead has infinite possibility for me! The result, all that I’ve begun to work on this week in support of this new journey in my life is unfolding easily and gracefully. That’s a great feeling!
Be definite.
Feel it.
Go!
