I am headed to the desert tonight. My father and I are headed out toward Palm Springs to see where we can get a good view of the super-moon full lunar eclipse that will unfold in the early hours of tomorrow morning. I have a deep fascination with things like eclipses because of their mathematical precision. The very fact that we can predict with almost 100% accuracy these events, these alignments of the Earth with the moon and the sun suggests to me that there is order to the Universe. If there were no order then we wouldn’t be able to make these predictions.

The beginning of today’s reading was a great reminder of how far we’ve come in the evolution of Spiritual thought and understanding since this edition of the Science of Mind. The very first part of the proposition here that Holmes makes is that God is distinct from matter. He is saying there is a difference between God and Form. This idea would be later retracted by Holmes (in 1953) when he offered this in his seminar lectures, “the relative IS the Absolute, at the level of the relative…We are not talking about God and something. There is not God and something else, but only God in all things.”

Speak the truth! Beauty is everywhere!

There is change in the air. Can you feel it? Are you ready for it? Did you create it?

I feel powerful and positive today. Life is progressing and I have decided to board the vessel of life’s perfect journey. What a great feeling this is!

How do I know all this? I know it because I feel it. In the feeling of it I speak my truth… and know that speaking Truth I am, in my own unique way, changing the world for the better.
